SSM 50881 - 2022 Expedition - Power Running Boards Intermittently Not Stowing And/Or Deploying When Not Commanded - Vehicles Built On Or Before 01-Jun-2022
Some 2022 Expedition vehicles, built on or before 01-Jun-2022, may exhibit a concern with the right and/or left power running boards intermittently not stowing and/or deploying when not commanded. This may be due to various software parameters in the driver front seat module (DSM). To correct the condition, download and run the Driver Front Seat Module (DSM) Configuration app on the latest level of the Ford diagnostic scan tool. For claiming use causal part number 14C708 andapplicable labor times from Section 10 of the Service Labor Times Standard (SLTS) Manual.
