Just noticed that the stability/traction light was on. Fiddled with the button, did nothing. When i got home i found and hooked up my scanner (Zurich ZR8). The code is C1277 -missing info for steering wheel angle sensor. I looked at a couple videos, most were about resetting it: i dont think my ZR8 can do that, but im not that skilled a user of it. I also found some conflicting info about the "part" and where it is located. Somebody point me in the right direction for diagnosing and fixing please.

Here's the sensor. Don't know about replacing it, never had to.

And now for more confusion, i just took the truck out for a short ride. When started i saw the service advancedtrac warning for the first time. The traction/stability light was lit, and as i drove out the driveway they both went off and did not return! But it was a short trip of just over 7 miles each way.
