So I have a 99 Ford expedition 5.4 Eddie Bauer edition. It left me sit and all signs led to the starter. We've put on 5 starters all of which will start it the first time but the second time it won't do anything and is burning up the solenoid on the starter like the Bendix is not disengaging. We ran new wires from the battery down to the starter and put an extra ground on the frame. We also replaced the solenoid on the firewall and new battery. It's still burning up the starters any suggestions??
