I have a 2000 expidition that will not start and I don't know why. The security system is acting up and can't be disabled without using the key fob. It was not starting without hitting the unlock button on the key fob, now it won't start at all. I have tried many of the suggestions posted online and none have helped. Any advice would be appreciated.

Disconnect the battery for about 20-30 minutes and then re-connect and try again to start.

Have you had a remote start system installed?

I have tried disconnecting the battery. It doesn't help. I do not have remote start either. Some other things I have tried include resetting the key fobs to our vehicle and hitting a small reset point near the steering column (I could not find it). I found the door key code and using that didn't help either.

When you try to start the expy is the theft light flashing at a slow or very fast rate?

You may want to get a meter and check all of your fuses to make sure none are blown.

Have you had any problems with water leaking from the windshield on the drivers side??
