Steering Wheel Material

What is the steering wheel material on the XLT? Is it leather or something else?

I don't know but I suspect it's the same as my Eddie Bauer and it sucks. Very prone to scratches and cuts that then drive me nuts every time I feel them.

According to the 2011 (which I have) brochure, it's leather wrapped. I believe my 1999 EB was leather as well.

I hate the feel of the steering wheel as well. I bought a matching color steering wheel cover but was so tight to put on it ended up tearing in one corner. I just left it on but it still annoys me.

I don't mind how it feels. I wanted to make sure I'm isn't the right cleaner. I have the sandstone interior. So I'll be cleaning out a lot.
