Still Missing

Ok I have replaced plugs, wires, removed c converters, fuel filter and my 98 still runs rough and misses bad ,especially going up hills,
any input appreciated

need to add the ford dealership got codes for converters or so they say

You need to start somewhere. Vac leaks are an issue as the truck ages. I'd start with that.

Sorry I forgot to add, when they changed plugs , wires and #5 coil pack they fixed the only vac leak they could find, I am now trying the mass airflow censor and a new muffler as it is rough shape as where c-converters,
the suv is still in good enough shape to keep and drive but at the point where a line has to be drawn for repair costs and they are adding up
