Sub and Amp replacement 2006 Expedition EB

First time post, but something I want to do a lot of research before I start. I believe I have the audiophile system, but I need to know which kind of sub I should purchase. I have seen posts stating it is shallow the subwoofer housing is, but have not found a definite answer. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate.

U can buy any standard 8" sub and put in there...no spl subs
