Hi,

2007 eddie bauer version.

Anybody know which wires in the overhead control are controlling the sunroof open/close?

My controls have the sunroof and rear windoow tilt buttons. Im looking for the sunroof open close button wires.

I want to permanently disconnect them so that you can not open the sunroof anymore.

Thanks

There are two connectors located above the headliner near the roof opening
C921 10 pin connector but only 6 pins are used it connects directly to the Roof Panel Module

C922 6 pin connector all 6 pins are used It is an inline connector that connects the harness to C921

Disconnect either connector and that will prevent the roof panel from operating

Will the rear window tilt still work if I unplug the connector?

Yes Those two connectors are only for the roof opening

When you say tilt I take it you mean the side windows

hi again,

I took the overhead control off.
There are two plugs in there.
One plug gives power to the interior overhead lights in the front.
The other one controls the switch for the sunroof and the rear windows.
If i unplug this connector, the sunroof and the rear windows dont work.
What I want to do, is only disable the sunroof and still use the rear windows.

Anybody knows which cables I have to pull and isolate out of that connector to disable the sunroof?

You would need to disconnect 4 wires on that connector It should be a 14 pin connector that is using 9 pins

The other connectors that I mentioned C921 and C922 are behind the roof panel opening and are to the rear of that opening Not sure how easy they would be for you to get to. If you want to know what wires to disconnect at the switch I will send you that info You will need to remove the pins and need a special tool to do that unless you just plan to cut the wires but That is something I wouldn't do.

I would like to disconnect only the 4 wires. I might have that tool to remove the wores from the connector. Which 4 wires are you talking about?

Mike the wires are on pins
#8 Yellow/Orange wire
#10 Violet/Brown wire
#11 Violet/White wire
#14 Yellow/Gray wire

There are two rows of pins on the connector One row is using 4 pins and the other row is using 5 pins You want the row with the 4 pins that are being used

Make sure the above color wires are in those pins They are the ones you need to remove
