I went through the car wash yesterday and suddenly I was getting wet from above! I checked afterwards and the rear of the sunroof was not sealed all the way down on one side. I tried opening and closing it several times and it would make a little noise but not move. It was still under 30 degrees out so I thought ice may be inside blocking something.
I tried again today , at 40 degrees and definetly no ice and it would only tilt up in the rear, now open even more and won't do anything else. I can hear some mechanical noises happening as I hold the button both ways but it won't move from being just tilted up in the rear. It looks like there are 4 tore screws holding the glass onto the track racking so tomorrow I'll take that off to get a better look at the guts.
What could this be or should I check to fix this? It's making noise like it wants to move but won't budge.

Mine did the same when my son opened it while there was snow on the roof. Some snow became lodged beneath the thin black arm at the front of the opening, and the glass would behave as you described until I cleaned out every bit and the arm could move freely up and down.

Any other ideas on this? There's no ice or snow blocking anything.
