It's for a 07 EB, I bought fob on eBay for $10. All I had to do was switch internals of my old fob no programing nessessary. That was no problem , but truck won't start. All doors unlock and lock but I think it needs the chip that's in the key not sure what I should do any ideas?

Do you have the 5-button remote? If so, please send me a link to the ebay seller. I can't seem to find one with the same 5-button as my original remote.

No I have a 4 button remote. I did try to program key but no good. I have the 2 original keys and that's how I tried to program that key. I forgot to mention I have an aftermarket remote start. If I remote start the car and put switch blade key in it works no problem. But I can't turn truck on with switch blade key

It sounds as if the key does not have the chip in it. Some remote starters hide a transponder key near the box to bypass the PATS system, so the car can actually start remotely. When that is activated, your new key will not be the initial key and it will turn the ignition. But it won't be able to start the car on it's own.

Yea, your remote start is bypassing the PATS. I seem to recall reading somewhere that some of the ebay keys did not come with a chip in them. That might explain why you were not able to program it.
