Sync microphone wiring

I just purchased a 2013 XLT with sync. Couldn't get the microphone to work so I removed the overhead console and found the mic wasn't plugged in. Strange thing is I can't find the male end of the mic wiring. Where is the microphone wiring routed above the headliner? Does it go up through the A pillar?

Yes. I might be tucked up under the driver's side headliner. It's a very small three-wire black plug.

I ended up taking it back to Carmax and got it taken care of under their 30 day warranty.
