Ok, so I have a 2012 Expy XLT with the Sync system and backup camera and navigation. (Navigation is not very useful, btw. Out of date maps, even after update, and no way to link it with my phone)
Recently, the physical buttons and the control knobs do not work for about 5 minutes or so after start up. After that, they seem to work fine, and the steering wheel controls and touch screen seem to work from power up. Has anyone seen this before, and what did you do to fix it? Alternatively, does anyone know if the newer Sync 3 system will work in my 2012? And what I would need to do to make it work? (Much better system in my opinion)
