Sync Video Sound Not Synced

Anyone know why when I play videos from my iPad plugged in and thru the Sync system, the sound is so delayed it's almost not worth watching?

I've tried Bluetooth and actually plugging it in and both are very delayed.

I have experienced this on my iPhone as well. Makes watching stuff awful; I just switched back to the speakers on the phone.

The lag issues are also present on the Bluetooth audio connection to SYNC with the factory Rear Entertainment System (RES), which is a major fail by Ford for a factory installed option. I ended up hardwiring the audio to SYNC for the RES (see attached thread) which solved the lag issues: https://www.expeditionforum.com/thr...-rear-entertainment-system.44017/#post-399209

You could probably use a similar setup to what I did with the factory RES to have a hard wired audio connection for iPads in the back seats that solves the audio lag issues.
