Tail light question

Will the 2007+ Expedition tail light fit on a 2006 model without any mods? I found some better aftermarket ones but it says 2007+ but they look the same shape.

if the 2006 expedition has the same body style as the 2007 they should fit. I think a 2007 is still 2nd get but i dont recall if 2008 was the first of the 3rd gen or if it was 2007

07...first 3rd gen...ues they will fit however the reverse light socket is too big for the 3rd gen...so I will have to splice a smaller socket or make the hole bigger
