After buying my '98 XLT 5.4 in August 2010 with 63k miles on it from my grandpas company (an oil field service company). It was used to run from the office in Anchorage to Valdez AK for a few years of its life. After that it was parked at the office for use of company people who came into town, clients and the occasional worker who needed to move stuff. After years of saying i wanted the truck i was able to talk the boss into selling it to me for $2500...best money i have ever spent! With light maintenance and repairs its been a oil change and put gas in it kind of truck.

Since new it's had seat covers and husky liner floor mats so the inteiror is well taken care of.

So this morning after 35,990 miles and 3 years and 9 months of ownership she rolled 100k miles!

Not a big fan of the colored pillar in the back and the lack of a roof rack (or very small roof rack) but other than that, it's nice. BTW, what rims are those? I want to get similar ones since I HATE low profile on a truck.

Behind you
scared me there, for a minute I thought you were about to say that the 'day has come' that it was time to move on from the Expedition...

Glad to see it was quite the opposite.

Down side is that the pics reminded me just how badly I need to change up the wheels. The paint on the OE steelie's is peeling badly now, and want to upsize an inch anyway...
