The ghost of air suspension

Just last weekend I purchased an '04 Eddie Bauer with 160k. It originally had air suspension, but a previous owner did the pneumatic shocks / springs conversion. Now every time I start the vehicle, the info center says "check air suspension" or some such message. Is there something that could be disabled or removed that would eliminate this message popping up constantly?

Yeah their is, should be a procedure online. If not get ahold of Arnott or one of the three companies that sell the kits. They can send you a disabling sequence for your SUV. I'm sure one of our members here will probably post the procedure.
