I am wondering, what are the cheapest programmer's I could buy for a 2000 Expedition 5.4. I really dont feel like spending a 600 bucks for one. Any suggestions?

I think the Edge models are around 400-500. They are all pretty similarly priced I think, and Edge products seem to be the preferred model that I've seen through this forum.

The Superchips 1715 can be found fairly cheap. I picked one up a while ago and still haven't messed with it. Mainly due to the price of 93 octane and the fact that I have a catalytic converter code right now and I'm not sure if it will play nicely with the programmer. But they can be found for 100 - 200 dollars. Not the best unit with the most options, but cheap enough.

depends on what you want...i bout my superchips for $400...$399.99 flat...no tax...but if youre going to buy a programmer...go with a custom tune from 5startuning i think the name is...that will run about $450...if you ever find one that $600...youre getting rip'd off
