Hey all - thought I'd finally register and drop in. I've been reading/ reviewing this forum for the last year or so, and thought maybe I could begin to return some of the help I've received here along the way.

I have a '98 EB 4x4 / 5.4 about 214k miles that I have begun to set up for primary use on those opportunities we may have from time to time in exploring and enjoying Colorado, as well as serve in regular use hopping around town as needed. At this point in the game, our interests lie more in exploration/ chasing down the fire roads and mining trails than heavy rock crawling or developing a dedicated trail rig.

I have removed the problem-riddled air suspension and replaced with rear coil springs/ front coil overs, then rebuilt the front end (tie rod ends/ pitman arm/ idler arm/ UCAs/ etc). While I was at it, I added a 2 1/2" rear spacer (I'm looking to change to full spring), and twisted the t-bars a bit.

Once happy with how it sits, I added a set of 35x12.50x17 on my stock wheels. While the wheels still need to be addressed and are on my list, this is, in my opinion, how the truck should be set up from the factory.

I have a checklist of repair/ maintenance that I am slowly knocking out, but all in all; this is a solid truck, and the platform overall is worth more attention for the adventurous than it receives.

Anything I can ever be of help with, I'm @justKen

I'll work on it/ give me a day or so - we've been having some rough weather here in Central Colorado for the last week or so, and the truck is pretty nasty.

It doesn't have the snazzy front bumper or the cargo bed modification

Off road pics are my favorites. Maybe we can organize a trail run with Colorado Expeditions.
