hi everyone,
time for front brakes on my 02 4WD expy...there are so many out there, and tons of posts about it..i have read them. Looking for opinion, what are you guys running for pads rotors?...I am drawn to Motorcraft superduty's due to the fact that I do tow with it a couple time year, but do i need those? any advice is appreciated! This is my wifes daily drive, transports kids, sports gear, you know..what expy's do!

I think a couple guys on here have bought ceramic rotors and pads off of ebay and like them a lot. The rotors are cross drilled and slotted. I know walnuts has them on his, and he says they work great even when pulling his boat, and he has 37" tires. Maybe you can get in touch with him and he can tell you the ones he got. That is the route I will probably go my next time, and I think they are only a little over $200.

I think I got mine at Carquest. I believe it was the blue line? Don't remember, but they have been great so far. At the very least, they dust a whole lot less than the OEMs.

Do you have a reason for getting ceramics? I was under the assumption that, though they show brake dust less, they have slightly less stopping power?
