So im ready to get some more mpgs out of this thing. I have a 2003 eb expedition 5.4 4x4 that i'm trying to figure out what to do to get some better gas milage. There are some things i was looking into doing such as electric fans , a tuner, and maybe a cat back. I already put new cop's and e3 spark pulgs in it and done the gotts. I was wondering what tuner would have the best tune for mpg. For the electric fans i was wonder what you guys are doing, i'm trying to do the fans on a budget. The flex-a-lite kit is a little to expensive. For the exhaust i was looking at the flowmaster cat back, but do you think getting a shop to make one would be cheaper. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks for looking.

Well as far as exhaust, I would say have a shop do it once, and do it right. PM a member named Thermo regarding any e-fan questions. He knows his stuff. Pretty much any tuner is going to net better mpg's, though I am not sure if any one is better than the other. Many members here use Edge tuners from what I have seen. I would also recommend a high quality air filter and the Gott's mod. Fairly cheap to do and it does help.

Edge Products| Products

I personally would call Edge before ordering it. They know which of their products will be best for your application. Also, they do not technically list one for the Expedition, but I am pretty sure the F-150 tuners are okay to use. It would be a good thing to ask them though.

edge doesn't make tuners for 2003. you'll have to look into superchips or sct
