Will be making appointment for tint soon just wanted to ask a question.
I've never gotten the ceramic tint on a vehicle is it really worth the extra for ceramic. I've always went very dark with regular tint but does ceramic really make that much difference

the window tinter I used put a piece of ceramic tint in front of a heat lamp versus non ceramic and the heat difference was huge. That sold me but would imagine that could also vary by brand of tint.

I've seen a display of that before and it was a huge difference. I think I'll prolly go ahead with ceramic

I've had the ceramic on 2 vehicles so far. Absolutely worth the cost. I wish I was ballsy enough to have a no-tint option installed on the windshield, but Im too worried about the install liquid causing electrical issues as it drips behind the dash and then, down the road, having to replace the windshield due to rock chips. Don't forget to have them install on the pano-roof if you have one. It makes a dramatic difference in the sun.

Yeah ill definitely be getting on the pano roof. I told my wife if we didn't get ceramic on any of the vehicle it will be done on the roof. But I think I'm gonna go ahead and get it on the whole thing if it really does work that good with the heat. We live in louisiana so yeah we need all the help we can get.

Definitely go ceramic. It makes a difference especially with temperature and uv protection for the interior.

On my 24 Max Limited 4x I went with ceramic and like it.

Ceramic is an absolute game changer especially if you are in a warmer climate. Here in KY we see temps in the 90s and 100s all summer long. Anytime I get a new vehicle pretty much the first thing I do is get the tint.
Just picked up a 2022 Navigator L for the wife Monday and am scheduled for ceramic all around. Drove it today and it's so hot without the tint.

She made appointment and ended up getting 25% on front 2 doors and 5% on all others and pano and a brow. She ended up not getting ceramic but I'm ok with that as we've never had ceramic before so don't know what we're missing. Lol

We've only left the cover open once and it was hotter than the gates of hell in the inside. I dunno if it was coincidence or if let that much heat in. It was never that hot in there before and we'd just got the tint put on. I'm thinking I may end up getting ceramic on pano.

Ceramic is the only way to go. I always use Llumar Air Blue 80 on my windshield and pano roofs and whatever the legal ceramic tint from Llumar Pinnacle is on the side windows. Llumar is always my first choice.
