tinting head/tail lights

does anyone know how to spray tint head lights and tail lights? or know of a thread already out there that they can link me to. i have chrome led taillights already and looking to tint them since my window tint is so dark on my 04 EB...its green so i dont want to keep the chrome taillights...and slightly tint the head lights...

I am not an expert on headlight tinting, and I don't play one on TV. But I do know that it's not the best idea. If I was a cop and looking for a reason to pull you over, that's a pretty obvious one.

If I were to add anything, do enough coats of clear to where you can sand the clear flat. That is how you get the glossy finish.

Also, I advice not doing the headlights...

For those without a lot of time, spray guns, etc...

there are some cool aftermarket lights that are already darker or "smoked"

well i had smoke aftermarket tails but they went bad...bought another pair and they sent clear...i deployed to afghanistan then moved to virginia...dont want to spend another $300 on the tails again...and i only want the IPCW...they look the best to me...so i'll try tinting

do a search on spike tv muscle car they did a tail light tint with chip foose on a mustang

get them painted professionaly it will look better and not attract zombies...
