they just got a great review in four wheeler mag, they have them in 35s or 37s on a lifted jeep also. seems to be a good all around a/t tire.

Scott, what are you looking for the tires to accomplish for you? Are you just after something to survive on the road in rain and snow. Or are you looking for something that will handle off-roading? Give me an idea of what you are needing from the tire and that will help me figure out whether the tire is good for you or not.

Chris..thermo, I am looking for more agressive than the goodyears RTS i have, I would love to go M/T but not practical since my offroading is gravel driveways...lol....so pavement, rain and snow when we get it here in Washington, you remember our unpredicatable winters here.

they make them in a 33x12.5/17 which measures a 32.8" tall tire...

and 285/70/17 = 32.7x11.2/17

just FYI....lol

anything is better then the POS goodyear RTS's!!! hate those things. they are just a tad worse then the firestone wilderness a/t's on my dads explorer. yes the recalled ones.( its a '99 with 29k miles on stock tires)

you should look into the cooper at3 its new and the reviews have been wonderful so far. but i'm a cooper fan boy.

For THAT price, no… You can get them cheaper on other sites. Check here: www.discounttiredirect.com and I have a phone number for a guy there directly who can probably get them delivered to your door even cheaper. Let me know if you're interested and ill send it to you. FWIW, I got 4 General Grabber AT2's for less than that. And like Walnuts says, theyre waaay better than most of the other tires. Almost an identical copy of the overpriced BFG all terrains. Its been a great tire so far, and all I do is pavement, rain, and snow.

As for that specific tire… My cousin has them on his Chevy Sierra 4x4, and he likes them. Says they do everything he needs them to do. But thats about all I know about them.
