Hopefully tomorrow I can track down the pressure cap. If I can't the heat I have now is better than before. Thank you for all the help and for future help.
Your welcome, it's been cool for us here in the Bay Area. But our 30 to 45 degrees is like summer, compared to your weather. Hell I've been using my SUV heater almost every day, can't even imagine what you go through in the north.
Until 2.5 weeks ago it was upper 30s, but now it's mid teens and 11inches of snow. Lows are in the single digits and occasionally negative. Not nearly as cold as last year.
You guys and girls there, are a tough bunch. Here in San Francisco people cry when it gets below 50 degrees. Problem here is almost everybody is a transplant from somewhere else in the country. I think everyone in the Bay Area should spend a winter in the north east!
Ha, only started wearing a winter coat when temp went to 15 degrees. Normally a hoodie is sufficient. I don't mind the cold or heat for that matter, my son does though. That's the only reason I needed to fix my heat.
Theirs a thread out here from a guy how to simply diagnose your 4 wheel drive motor/ solenoids and such. Might help with your non working 4 wheel drive.
I understand, after seeing all the problems with the newer gen 3's. Your ahead of the game. I've owned a lot of vehicles over my 40 plus years of driving, these are the toughest I've ever encountered.
