if your station adds ethanol blend then mileage will be worse with that crap than straight it will with straight gas. I don't understand the whole flex fuel thing - sure you burn less "gas" with E85 you also get 15% less miles per tank - so where is the benefit? At least that is my experience. Oh ya ethanol blended gas burns a little cleaner - you just need to burn more of it...

i have great luck with chevron sure i pay a little more but its the only way i have been able to keep it in the 10mpg range in town. yes i have a heavy foot but i ran fry's/Kroger gas and i kept gettin 8mpg ish. it took 2 fillups at chevron to get that junk out. even my 30/44 mpg 4 cylinder corolla hates it. as for not fillin up when fuel truck is there how long should i wait my chevron gets filled twice a day most days

I found Ethanol free gas station yesterday, the fuel is labeled REC-90. I put in almost 13 gallons in the Expy, lets see how it effects the fuel economy.

I have already put 60 miles on the truck since and it seems to be improved a little with the same driving habits. I am going to run the tank to as near empty as possible and do a full fill-up and that will give me a more accurate reading.
