how do you know what the expy tows I have a 2017 limited and I was under the impression when I bought it that it towed 9200 but I saw on a vin check site it says 6600 how do I really know what it can tow

It’s an el not sure I believe it does but ford says if it has this gcwr it’s 6600 it’s another it’s 9200 so I’m at a loss

It does have the inter grated trailer brake controller

Oh I did I just don’t know if my truck is the 6700 or the 9200 that the confusing part

If your truck is 2x4, your max tow is 9300. If its 4x4, your max is 9200. The HD towing package is standard on the 2017 LTDs.

On the dash to the right of the steering wheel and below the lift gate button, traction control button, and downhill assist button do you have a brake controller built in?

Yes that’s why I thought it towed 9200
