Towing Mirrors

I have a 2003 Expedition XLT. I am trying to find a good set of towing mirrors. I have found a **** 11600 slip on but most sites say it will only fit up too a 2002. One site says to a 2003. Does anyone know if these mirrors will fit my 2003?

If it says 1997-2003, they are wrong as it will only fit up to 2002 which is the last year of the Gen 1. 2003-2006 will be different. Just curious what you are pulling to need extensions as I didn't need them when towing a 26 ft boat that was 8'6" wide. The second gen's mirrors are already a pretty good size.

I am pulling a 28 ft travel trailer called a shadow cruise. I haven't picked it up yet and you may be right about not needing them. My brother mentioned that I might, so I started looking. Thanks for the response.

IMHO you'll certainly want them as those behind, or overtaking you, can only see you by looking in them. it will be a very-exaggerated blind spot I can tell you.

you'll also wind up creening your neck to see behind/around you while on the road.

Just not worth not investing in them IMHO.
