Can someone help me find it please? Google is useless, all it says is the reset button is under the steering wheel somewhere. And something about turn key off and on 3 times (without startin), hold the button til light blinks, and I think it said turn key 3 times again (else) something about driving for ten minutes.... I don't know, I'll look that all up again once I actually find the module. A picture would help.

This thing has been a beautiful nightmare. Chased cylinder 5 misfire for almost a year, until the engine blew up. Put a re-man engine (and tranny since it was that far apart), got almost 8k miles before misfire cylinder 5 came back. Bought a new PCM (programed with key). Chased it until I gave up. Let it sit for 3 years. Fuel injector #6 plug was broken, replaced that, all codes finally went away. Currently can't get OBD drive cycle (evap won't test, might be due to full tank), and the tire monitor system. I hope I don't have issue once I find module, with the truck being an 06, and the wheels are from an 07.

In my 2004 the TPMS module is behind the upper driver side C pillar. Kind of above straight up from the 3rd row seat cup holder.

It's possible the 2006 is in a different location, but I suspect it's unlikely.

Reset process for 2004, I have never tried this.
1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN position three times, ending in the RUN position. Do not wait more than one minute between each key cycle.
3. Press and release the brake pedal.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
5. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN position three times, ending in the RUN position. Do not wait more than one minute between each key cycle.
6. The horn will sound once and the TPMS indicator will flash if train mode has been entered successfully. If equipped, the message center displays "TRAIN LF TIRE", place the magnet on the valve stem of the LF tire pressure sensor. The horn will sound briefly to indicate that the tire pressure sensor has been recognized by the TPMS module.
7. Within two minutes after the horn sounds, place the magnet on the valve stem of the RF tire pressure sensor.

NOTE: If the VSM (TPMS module integral to VSM) does not recognize any one of the four tire pressure sensors during the tire training procedure, the horn will sound twice and the message center (if equipped) will display "TIRE NOT TRAINED REPEAT" and the procedure must be repeated.

8. Repeat Step 7 for the RR and LR tires.
When the tire training procedure is complete, the horn will sound once and the message center (if equipped) will display "TIRE TRAINING MODE COMPLETE".

This post got me thinking because I've noticed it seems Ford consolidated certain modules during the 2004-2006 time frame. My '06 Ford Workshop Manual says the TPMS module is integral to the Vehicle Security Module/VSM and it's located behind the Right Hand A-Pillar lower trim panel. I've never had a need to look for mine (yet) but it sounds like it's nested outboard of the glovebox behind the passenger's kick panel. The steps @whtbronco provided are word-for-word out of the '06 shop manual. Just glancing at the pinpoint troubleshooting tests, Ford points first to corrosion with the connectors...perhaps that's due to location... Good luck and let us know what you find.

@SafariGoneWrong i know where that box is located. It has the code for the door keypad. I wanted to know the code, and went to ford dealer. They couldn't recover code based off VIN (according to them) and told me where to find it. It's on a sticker on the cover of the box. About the magnet trick on valve steam. The sensors in the wheels of the 07 rims i have, has a steal band holding the sensor to the center of the wheel, and does not have integrated valvesteam sensors. A magnet will never reach. This may me interesting to find a solution. I wish it was as easy as old 06 impala I had. If it was equipped factory to have remote start, it was as easy as holding door lock/unlock together on remote untill horn honked, then circle the car letting air out of each tire until it honked. Stupid is, if your impala didn't have remote start function, you had to take to dealer for service. It didn't work with the remote. Going to give suggested procedure now.
