Will the trailer brake control trim panel fit my 2012 as a simple swap, or do I need to buy a different retaining bracket? I want to use it to mount the USBs from my Kenwood (I'll fab a mount panel) so I can have access to them from the dash.

Does anyone have a picture of this panel if they have the integrated trailer brake controller option? Also, is the controller separate from the panel, or is it a one-piece unit?

Hate to break it to you, but the factory brake controller (2013 and up I believe) is integrated into the computer and the factory instrument cluster. Its not as simple as install it and run it. I looked into it for my 2012 Limited. Looks like aftermarket is our only option.

Thanks. I'm only asking about the trim panel, not the controller itself. I want to use the trim panel to mount some USB jacks, and want to know if the switch is part of the trim panel, or separate with just an opening for the controller switch.
