I have an 03 EB with the tow package. It has the 7 pin connector already installed, what do I need to do to install a controller? What is a good brake controller to install?

can't speak to your model, however my wiring bundle (4 wires) was behind the center console caddy and factory labeled.
I installed a Tekonsha brake controller which I sourced from a RV store when I lived up North.

03 EB here chiming in, the brake controller wiring is behind center console like 1997SCEBFEX said. I've got quick disconnects (added?) just above and rear of where my right foot rests, the brake controller can sit in the center console until I need it.

Thanks all. I found etrailer.com but I ended ordering the controller and interface cable on Amazon for quicker shipping.

+1 on a Tekonsha brake controller...I have a Prodigy P1, and works awesome... get the plug and play harness for $10 and save some time.

I also run a Tekonsha Prodigy, it has moved through three vehicle changes and has worked flawlessly in all applications.

Tekonsha P3. Buy the cable that plugs into Ford so you don't have to cut wires. If you switch vehicles, just buy a different cable.
