Have 1998 Ford Expeditions (Candian) first great truck but it decides to blow out #4 plug next project.
Bought a 1998 Expedition to get me by till I can fix Canada. Ran great for two days coming off the freeway felt a bump when I got to the light transfer case was in neutral. Shifted the on the fly switch in from 2h to 4lo let off the brake and jammed into 4lo not a pleasant sound. Would not switch back pulled the on the fly fuse good. Left it out to release front hubs. Iwas only a block or two from home got it there. Put fuse back in a it goes through all the switches and shows indication of operation. Still 4lo pulled the motor on transfer case pointing to 2hi? This only 178k my Canada 236k the two compared Canada wins hands down not one leak anywhere. Michigan I think was a service vehicle but is a bleeder except transfer case and granny.
It has way more undercarriage protection.
