2016 Expedition XLT EL. 135000mi 99% highway. I have owned since 115000. Since I owned maybe 50mi in 4x4 (winter).
Far from home Oct2024. Wrench warning icon came on so stopped to check out. No crank/restart so hauled to local Ford dealer who diagnosed Transmission Conductor Plate. Replaced which solved the problem. Part # A,92601491 on the invoice (plus a seal). I assume a Ford part at $300. $1100 labor. They apparently didn't replace the trans filter.
Now apparently, the same issue. Parked, shut off, no crank/restart. Now @ 209000mi 99% highway.
Is this a known frequent failure on the Ford transmission?
