Transmission gauage.

I see many people showing what there temp of the transmission is. What do I need to add because all I see is the one that just shows green, yellow then red. I miss being able to see the temp. So far it pulls better then my old Tahoe with the 6.2.(the engine seized at 21,113 miles). No more GM for me. I live in Colorado and travel in the moutains.
