I did a search but couldn't find the exact issue.
Driving down the highway at 60mph after coming out of some stiop and go traffic. I noticed the RPMs were high ~3500. So I sped up and slowed down and the RPMs just went up and down with the engine no shifting at all. I pulled over stopped and turned off the car, then restarted and all seems fine.
I had a Chrysler that did this and it eventually lead to a blown tranny. I have the Ford extended warranty. So I was gonna take it in if this happens again.
No warning lights went on.
Any Ideas?
