Getting lift (RL 3/2 + RC rear parts) installed tomorrow and then new wheels and tires Thursday. Discount Tire is bringing in a set of Recon Grapplers in 305/55/22 SL and a set of Toyo AT3 in LT295/55/22. My question is should I have the transmission reset or take the neutral off the battery for a few minutes to reset(if that even works) due to the lift and larger/heavier tires? I know these trans are pretty temperamental anyway so just seeing what others have encountered and if I should know anything. TYIA!

Also which tires would you recommend? Both are roughly 63lbs but the Nitto is a Standard Load tire and the Toyo is an LT tire. No real plans for "off-roading" as this is the wifes vehicle and mostly used on the highway & beach.

You're likely adding about 13-15 lbs per corner with the new setup, not enough to warrant worrying about having to reset the trans tables. Both are going to be hard to fit in the wheel well without some trimming of the fender liner to achieve full lock. I'd go with the slightly smaller Toyo's. I'm running 33s on a set of 17 inch wheels and I favor the large sidewall look over a skinny sidewall.
