Transmission reset

I was having some trouble with rough shifting on my new to me 2020 with 70k miles.
My mechanic cleared all the tables and basically reset the transmission.
Shifts great now.

Did you find that the rough shifting only occurred when the engine\transmission was cold or was it happening all the time?

Please let us know if the rough shifting returns.

My dealer frequently "resets" the transmission to default back to "learning mode" when I take my '18 Limited in for service and complain of ongoing "rough shifting." Once through the "learning mode," any perceived improvement in the shifting goes away.

I'm not 100% certain. My dealer has said "a couple tanks of gas," but based off my experience the rough shifting usually returns within days.

I took a quick look, but couldn't find an "official" explanation of when the learning cycle ends.
