My trans still shudders but now goes into a false neutral while in drive. I took it to AAMCO, they seem to think it's the valve body or internal eletronic ailment. I decided to pour Sea Foam, transmission cleaner in. Thus far, the false neutrals have stopped, it still shudders but not as bad. I will continue to drive and see what happens next. Considering getting it flushed, even though the fluid has been changed twice within the last 45 days. The flush should clean out the torque convertor. All or any ideas are appreciated.

I'm not sure how much the flush will help if you've changed the fluid twice in 45 days but hopefully it does. Have you considered using an additive? Other than that the only options you have is transmission work. My torque convertor is starting to shutter also, just on rare occasion but my transmission fluid is very old and dirty, I haven't been able to change it yet but I plan to this weekend. I plan on trying an additive after I change it also to see if it help firm up the shifting.

I used to drive a 93 Lincoln Mark VIII that developed a similar transmission shudder while driving. I used a similar additive, don't remember the name of it, but after driving about a week with it in the trans the shudder eventually dissappeared completely. Never had another problem with it. I hope the Sea Foam does the same for you.
