transmission slip

I have a 07 EB<EL 4x4 I bought a few weeks ago, Had 86,000 mi .Does anyone else with the 6 speed transmission feel like it slips for a second when you take off after comming to a stop . If I sit there and make sure I have come to a complete stop and the transmission has downshifted to first it is ok ,but if you don,t feel that last release and you decide to take off it slips.Dealer says it is normal and all the 6 speeds do it but that is what they say no mater what the problem........Thanks
