Can anyone tell me why my truck feels like it's being choked when accelerating? My mechanic has replaced the air flow meter about a year ago. He also tuned it up recently (plugs, rubber covers, gas filter, air filter & even change coil #3). At times especially with the air conditioner on the truck seems to hold back and dance when trying to accelerate. It doesn't do it all the time. I was guessing either the mass air flow sensor? Another air flow meter? Computer? Its a 2002 Ford Expedition XLT with the 5.4 V8 motor. Check engine light came on once and read coil #3 which was replaced. The check engine light doesn't come on anymore but the truck runs like crap when trying to accelerate. Can you think of anything? I need help from the forum. Thanks.

look at the passenger side of the intake.... there are rubber hoses that come off the side of it... look for the rubber elbow of the PCV hose... sometimes they rot out and will cause that feeling... mine had it not too long ago
