New member with new (to me) 1998 expedition. The blend door was bad, so, I cut the hole behind the glove box and got the old door out, with little pieces also. My problem now is that I can't get the new blend door to fit in. There doesn't seem to be enough room to get either the top or the bottom in without bending/breaking the new door. Is there a trick that I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated.

Yep, that's what I need. Guess I can stop trying and look for the Dorman 902-220, as I have the one that he specifically says won't work. Thanks for your help.......

Advance Auto Parts has them. Go to their web site and check your local stores to see if they have one in stock. A couple of stores in Sarasota have it in stock.

Thanks all, Amazon was the only place I found where you could buy only the Dorman 902-220 blend door, the local auto parts stores wanted to sell me a kit for 80.00, which included the Dorman 902-220. Amazon's price was 25.00, after shipping. Should be here tomorrow. Thanks for all your help,
