Certain things irritate me for sure. This coolant leak has been an issue since the ecoboost inception in the f150s back in 2011. The fact that they haven’t fixed it in 8 years really ****** me off. However this dealership is always willing to work with me and I’ve rarely ever had issues with them not covering somethingFord may not love you for bringing it in, but how do you feel about the poor quality and reliability?
I have a 2015 Expedition Limited 4x4, purchased new.

Yeah I remember reading about his. Now I will say I haven’t gotten under there in a long time to check so idk how long it’s been leaking. It must be very slow though because I only see it around the housing area. Not on the driveway or anything. Ran it the other night and got it up to temp so the thermostat activated and saw no visible leaks. I’ll let ford handle this one I thinkGlad you got it under warranty. Muddybean had some issues too with turbo coolant lines. I've got 68K and it just runs. No issues yet...

Maybe your '93 perf tune', has something to do with this issue. Too much cylinder pressure, can blow the head gaskets.

I thought the turbos are cooled with oil, not coolant. They get so hot, the water/coolant would vaporize. I bet something else is going on. That turbo is probably compromised and will fail next. Not my truck. And it’s a coolant tube. Nothing to do with a gasket.
If you owned one you’d know they use bothI thought the turbos are cooled with oil, not coolant. They get so hot, the water/coolant would vaporize. I bet something else is going on. That turbo is probably compromised and will fail next.

Do you know that as a fact? Please explain. They get to 1100 degrees, coolant 'boils over' around 240.And if you knew how a turbo worked, you would know they use both.
