Guess I will schedule a service visit. And hope I can explain to them that it ISN'T the turn signal switch. And then be prepared to spend the $110 for the turn signal switch anyway.

You haven't proven the mfs is bad - you can have multiple problems at the same time. Check the switch with a meter and signal going into/out of the sjb for the turn signals.
