Although my new Expedition has yet to arrive, I decided to pull the trigger on some mats for it in advance. In reviewing the options, I decided I would give the Tuxmat a try. I've used Weather Tech mats for a long time and wanted to try something new.

They arrived yesterday, I opened them up so I could take a good look. They seem great. Provided the fit is good, I think they will work well.

I used Weathertech for years but I've switched to TuxMat. Much better looking IMHO. I've got a set in my garage waiting for Ford together around to build my Expy Max (hopefully week of 3/28).

I love the textured look of the TuxMat. I've got little kids that drag all types of sand, mud, slush into the truck. I bought smoother textured mats from Maxliner, and for me, it works better because I can more quickly clean them. If it were just me and the wife the TuxMat looks way better but the rippled finish means that I have to breakout a brush to get the texture clean and I'm not looking for that compromise for this vehicle.

My boys are old enough now that they have passed the 'mess making' stage, for the most part!
I am right there with you that these will require some extra work to get clean.

I am interested to see how they will handle the snow/salt mess next winter.
