Upgrading 2017 Expi to dynamic cruise

My new to me 2017 Expi did not come with dynamic cruise. I love and use the feature on my BMW. What sort of issues would I face in upgrading? It seems like most of the technology is already resident in the truck, though I doubt the park assist sensors have enough range for dynamic cruise! Did Ford even offer it in 2017?

I cannot answer the first part of your question, but I am pretty certain the Adaptive Cruise did not become an option on the Expy until 2018.
