Ok first off, I know this has been covered before but I couldn't find it in the search area.

The ac / vent fan only works when it is on the high setting. There was a write up on here somewhere. If someone could direct me to where that is I would really apreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
Matt

If it's got manual controls it sounds like a blower motor series resister. There is a thermal limiter on the resister that goes bad either from too much load or overheating.
Resisters are usually mounted in the plenum by the motor in order to get airflow to cool the resister pack. Replace the whole thing.
Auto systems use various types of voltage and current control modules. Find the wiring diagram for your system and go from there.

Tom.

I posted this before but I want to try again. My vent/heat/ac only work when they are on the high setting.

My "door adjar" idicator also keeps tripping. I check and recheck all of the doors and they are all shut securly, but the light is still on.

ANY help would be appreciated.

Yes they are, both when I am driving and when I get out of the truck. Also when I lock it with the remote it honks twice. Normally it just honks once.

Then one of your door/liftgate latches is bad, more than likely it's your liftgate latch, if you handy, you can remove the panel and unplug the connection to the latch. Start with the liftgate, see if that solves the problem. Keep in mind that the lights will not come on once unplugged when that particular door is opened until it is fixed. If that's not the one try the rest of the doors, one at a time, until you find the one that keeps the lights on.

Try putting WD-40 on all the latches to see if it helps.

As for the AC, I'm not sure. I'm lucky, the only thing that doesn't work is the Max A/C on fan speed 1. Well, that, and the fact my rear A/C clunks when switching from floor to roof vents.

I would be interested in the write up also, since the controls on my wife's Expy only works on 4 now. Just started a few days ago. Rear A/C fan works fine.
