Hello everyone.

I’m trying to figure this problem out and for the life of me I cannot. I have a XLT with manual HVAC and one day it just…stopped working. The climate doesn’t work at all. No noises, no blower, no nothing. I can hear the vents move when I shift vent directions but that’s it.

I tried to fuses and tried to relays (by swapping them with other ones) and they all seem to be functioning. Is there something I may be missing? Any help is much appreciated, as I’m driving this thing across country in 3 weeks and ventilation would be preferable.

usually if the blower motor resistor starts acting up, the lower blower speeds fail first - could that be the problem. Very easy access behind the glove box

It might be the resistor. I had to replace mine. However, the failure mode was full high. It's an easy fix and the part is cheap.
