Hey guys,

I am not sure what this is or if it's even an issue. But a few months ago i noticed on my way to vegas with a full load in the truck i would turn from a stand still and accelerate it would feel like my tired were rubbing. I didnt think anything of it as i was fully loaded down with a total of6 people with luggage.

I noticed though when i came back home and unloaded and was driving by myself that i would accelerate from a stand still and turn it would feel like the tires were vibrating and rubbing/grinding on something. Is this an issue maybe with the awd? anyone else experience this or know what i'm talking about. It's hard to explain and you cant really hear it all that much so a video won't help.

I have had this happen only seldom lately. I figured I am not going to worry until something breaks. LOL But, I will be interested to see what people say it is, because maybe I will know how to fix it. It seems like it is coming from the front. Where is yours coming from?

That might be the A4WD. I had that happen to me. It got worse to the point of binding during regular driving.

I have the same thing happen with mine but it's only between 10-40 MPH. Once I get above that, it stops.

it could be a number of this with your trucks. you would have to jack each side up and check the tierod ends and balljoints if they r good then it's a wheel alinement prob.

checking tierod ends

to check the tierod ends. jack the truck up by the lower a frame then grab the tire at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock and move it in and out tire should not move much if you can move it more then a inch bad tierod ends.

checking balljoints

same as about but put a bar at 6 o'clock so 1 end is hitting the floor and the other end is hit the bottom of the tire then lift on the 1 end and see if the wheel move.

if your going to try and check this and not sure pm me and i'll give you my phone number and i could explan it better.
