VOLTAGE/Alternator

Hey guys
Just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them. My Edge programer is set to show me volts. Lately it's only showing 10.2- 10.5 at idle, give it some gas it goes up. When driving sometimes it will climb as high as 14.8. I know it can go up and down, but this seems alittle to much. Any ideas ?? I'm guessing Alternator ,since there's no seperate regulator on these trucks that I know about.
If so anybody use an aftermarket Alt that there happy with or just stick with the stock Ford?

i think mine is a stock ford. it was replaced with a ford i think. its most likely the alternator. but also check your wiring to make sure theres no corrosion on the contacts or anything.
