Does the warranty require you to use Ford transmission fluid and Rear end lube to maintain the warranty? Or can I use any manufacturer as long as it’s the proper weight and viscosit?

The transmission requires a special low viscosity fluid and I am not aware of other fluid that can replace it. Rock auto has it with a very reasonable price.

The rear end depends. If you have the open diff, then fee free to use whatever. If you have the eLSD, then stick with OEM fluid and the bottle of friction modifier from Ford.

The torque on demand Transfer case takes Mercon LV, which can be found easily at Orielly.

I would not use any other fluid except the ULV from Ford dealer for the 10 speed.

I don’t believe you need the friction modifier with the ELSD rear end. I’ll stay with the Ford transmission fluid. Don’t want any warranty problems down the road
