Hi Friends,
I have 1999 expedition EB.
I have a serious problem right now.
When it rains, I can see water leak from third seat belt both side.
It seems to come from the bolt of left third seat belt.

Do you have this same case before?

Please help me. Thank you

I have a sunroof. I tried to check a roof.
When I see my car, I think that water is leaking from a lift gate.

I am thinking about using silicone gun for washroom or using silicone for a car windows.

Do you think that any silicone is ok?

Thank you for your help.

It may not be pretty, but it should work fine. I may use a silicone+latex to allow it to stretch more, but You are not going to hurt anything with a 3 dollar tube of caulk. I have used it to seal much worse leaks than this. Use clear and you wont have to fear how bad it looks?

Its probably the seal around the sunroof, and its flowing to your rear. Re bead all around the sunroof and see if that helps.

Sunroof should/would only leak if the drains are clogged...

And cheat bathroom caulk or black rtv are my go to's for any automotive sealing lol

Sealing

Thank you for your help.
I tried to confirm it, so I pour out water only to the liftgate.
It was leaked.

My conclusion is just sealing round rubber of the liftgate.
I did with silicon latex. I hope that it doesn't leak..

Thank you for your advice.
I am happy with you again because of you.

Sealing failure

I sealed with silicon latex and 3m bond.
It is leaked.

I think that I need to see a specialist.

Which place is the best place between Ford dealer and Speed Glass?

Thank you again.

A reputable glass shop would be my choice over a dealer always, if they can't fix it they'd give good info on who could.

Im with him, Glass people know glass, so they are usually your best bet when glass is involved.

Also, they may know something about seals in your area vs. factory standard. I live in Colorado, where everything dries out, so you have to use different seals. My Kia ended up with a better windshield after replacement than factory. Specifically, because they use a less sunbaked/dry prone sealant.
